We take on procurement and tender work where the brief genuinely calls for culturally responsive, Community-led and systems-informed approaches.
We lead submissions and we contribute to them, across government, non-government and Aboriginal Community Controlled sectors. Our strongest ground is Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing, youth mental health, social and emotional wellbeing, co-design, service model development, workforce strengthening, and strategic reform.
We understand the complexities of procurement environments, including governance, reporting, accountability frameworks, and alignment with national and jurisdictional priorities such as Closing the Gap.
We also partner with organisations who want to strengthen the cultural integrity and Community legitimacy of their own submissions. As prime contractor, specialist sub-contractor or consortium partner, Walan Yulang brings grounded Community insight, lived-experience engagement capability and strategic policy alignment.
Our approach prioritises genuine Partnership over symbolic inclusion. A submission we are part of should build capacity that outlasts the contract.
